Everyone settles and the sun quietly slips behind the horizon - the full moon beaming through the leaves of the old oak trees and gently then stars begin to twinkle!
Friends get comfortable, chatting excitedly about what to expect! Talking about last years concert - and how it might be different!
The conductor, Richard Cock's loud voice booms over the microphone, introducing the acts and thanking the relevant parties for organizing - and the show begins!
In spectacular colour the Mzansi Youth Choir open the concert with our national anthem, Nkosi Sikelel iAfrika (Lord bless Africa) and nothing disappointed from that moment on!
From Verdi's "Brindisi" to Rafferty's "Baker Street" - from Andrew Young, extremely talented saxophonist to the Limited Edition Drum Corps - a fusion of jazz, classic, rock and pure fun!
A sombre moment when candles were lit in memory of those who succumbed to the 9/11 attack - a touching moment!
With a group of special ladies, and one special guy - it was a night to remember!
Pluto once said, "Music gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and everything!"
Starlight Classics - a must on anyone's calendar!
