Quiet!

It's a quiet night ... P is in Durban, Stacey (having cooked me a delicious meal of pork fillets with mushroom sauce, potatoe wedges with olives, rosemary and feta and roasted veggies) has gone off as she is house-sitting for friends!  Not a sound except for the hum of my laptop, the ticking of the cuckoo clock and the odd bark from Scahtzie who has been put to bed early, mind you - not impressed with me!

It's a quiet night!

After the excitement of the U2 concert which was awesome, spoiled only by the lack of organisation at the Northgate Park & Ride which was chaos!

It's a quiet night!

Alex is out of ICU and although she has a LONG road to recovery, is doing well! She's a brave girl - we're proud of her!

It's a quiet night and I am off to bed with a hot cup of honey and ginger tea!
We'll face tomorrow when it comes!

The entrance to Pop's garden - Mom loved it!

Why is it that there is always something that goes wrong at these events. Usually not the event itself, but either parking or food or security or something else.

I'm glad Alex is getting better.

Pity about the concert organization - Elaine also experienced the chaos!

A quiet night sounds lovely! Not something we often have here at Necky Knoll House!

Lucky you seeing U2! We giraffes here like their music too!

I hope your daughter Alex recovers swiftly - our thoughts are with her.

Honey and ginger tea? That sounds very giraffy!
