Singing in the Rain!

I'm singing in the rain
Just singing in the rain
What a glorious feeling
I'm happy again
I'm laughing at the clouds
So dark up above,
The sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for love!

A rainy afternoon spent playing Bingo, reading Tom Sawyer and really missing being able to go down to the beach for an afternoon swim! Yummy pasta for dinner, waiting for the clouds to clear up! Not tonight they won't! So what's the next thing a girl's gotta do? Why, go singing in the rain of course!

Am I allowed to? Can I go out into the rain?

'Course you can! It's holiday time and you're with your favourite old aunt whose allowed to break some of the rules, some of the time. Long as you go off afterwards and have a nice warm bath, put on your jammies and climb into your warm bed with Tom Sawyer! Of course you can! J

Holidays are fun - you can do all sorts of things you can't do in term time!

Now I will be singing this song all day long. Tho, there is no rain here. Still, you have a way about your carrying the tune...that I have to sing along with you.

Sorry to hear about your mum's passing. Your images shared below this post makes me know that you are a peace with it, and she is now eternally resting in a beautiful area!!

My Monday Post if you'd like to stop by to visit...is:

sorry...'a peace' should be 'AT peace'. The keyboard doesn't work while I'm singing in the rain.

Sometimes you just have to break all the rules and do something crazy. Must be nice to be at the beach.

Nothing wrong with breaking the rules every now and then

My kids love playing in summer rain. Putting on the rubber boots and splashing about is fun.
