Winter is fast approaching, the woolies are out and I've been thinking of some great ways to pamper yourself by keeping warm. Here are some of them!
- Make a hot chocolate by melting some good quality chocolate in hot glass of milk. Add a marshmallow to make it even more special!
- Invest in the fluffiest slippers you can find.
- Apply a creamy, nourishing body masque and some rich body butter.
- Make pancakes - sprinkle them with cinnamon and sugar and a squeeze of lemon juice
- Slow cook a steaming lamb stew with dumplings!

Its meant to be Spring here but am doing all of the above, am so frustrated with this weather....getting NO vit D anymore or running outdoors in the forest!!!
I agree...the three chicks need to go away to a spa - get pampered and de-stress!!!!
Marcelle, my Dr. has encouraged me to add Vit D tablets to my daily routine.
I think this is the best Spring we've had in some time. I'm enjoying the cooler temperatures because I know what is coming.
Everything you mentioned is great for winter living. I, especially, think about crock pot soups when Winter is here.

Ooooooo, I like the pancake one. Specially with lemon along with it. Mmmmmmm.....
We are planning a soup evening with a couple of friends where everybody brings a soup along. As soon as things are less hectic.
It already feels like summer here in Texas, but reading your post made me want to curl up on the couch under a blanket with some soup! Hope to see plenty of pictures of winter in SA!
