... and with the rain came the hail!! Huge stones, crashing down on our roof and on P and Stacey's cars (mine was snuggly locked in the garage!) Our garden turned from a green, summer lawn into a winter wonderland!
Our beautiful chrystal, blue swimming pool turned into this in a matter of 4 minutes ...
It took our gardener all of Saturday to clean up the leaves, and get our garden into an "ok" status! P worked on the pool and it has taken him two days to get it blue! Not chrystal clear yet, but we hope the floculant will work by tomorrow and it will be back to normal
After that storm, I feel a definite nip in the air! After all, it is autumn!

Even though it did kind of mess up your garden I love nothing more than a good storm. I just love the sounds of it - weird? yes much so haha! x
It must've hailed in a strip across JHB, cos it missed us
I love storms too! As long as they do not do any damage! Autumn is one of my favorite seasons, so I will enjoy watching it unfold on your blog as we head into spring (and HOT TX summers!)
We didn't get it as bad as that. I see Jeanette says it missed them which means we were right on the edge of it - they live not far from us!
oh WOW - I do love a good thunderstorm especially when I'm tucked up in the warm!!
oh me oh my! I love storms, but not the clean up.
