It's Friday ...

... and for that I am eternally grateful. Not only has this been a seriously busy week, but I have battled with my blog today and couldn't post comments, could not update - bit frustrating, but it seems to be working now. Not that I had a whole to share today! P and I are going to see "Dancing Queen" tonight at the Barnyard in Cresta - a little bit of Queen and Abba and a sprinkling of 70's music. I am looking forward to some good company, good music, a decent glass of wine and hopefully some laughs!

By the way, if anyone can tell me what this plant is I would be really chuffed. It's P's favourite and was in our garden when we bought our house nearly 12 years ago. It never used to "flower" (if you can call that a flower!!) but has done for the second year now. We were told it was a type of Cycad, but I have my doubts somehow. Hope someone recognises it!

To all of you out there, from me in here - have a fabulous week-end and keep safe!

Oooh enjoy your evening, and I'm sure that's some kind of cycad.

My guess is also that it is some kind of cycad. As far as Abba goes we saw Mama Mia the other night and although I love Abba I thought the movie was lame. Bad overdone acting, big stars who can't sing and a story that kinda went nowhere. The Damselfly wanted to see it since it came out and even she was dissapointed. But thats a bit off the subject. I Hope you enjoyed the show.

This is your view from your yard?!? Seriously, I love your photos from your part of the world. It looks like a retreat.
