Frogs!

Believe it or not - I love frogs!  It is my dream to have dozens of little green creatures singing at the tops of their voices down by the pool!  No chance of that with our dogs around!  The other night P picked up the tiniest little frog hopping around near the "fairy garden".  He gently put it through the fence into our neighbours garden. Schatzie would have had it for dinner!  When we were in Mauritius, we could hear this amazing chorous coming from the fountains at the entrance to the Hotel - I loved it.  A friend of mine who lives in KwaZulu Natal has a tiny, little, bright green tree frog that lives in her bathroom.  Believe it or not, she talks to it and it answers her back!  Sometimes it will allow her to pick it up and hold it, other times, it blows itself up and hisses!  It's delightful!
Want to see the frog in my garden?

It was a birthday gift from my dear friend Marteen!  I love it!  Pity it doesn't sing ... ... ...

Nice garden frog!! Um - not really so keen - they can be irritating when they croak on and on and on!! On the other hand, when I find them in the garden, I am always delighted - it means my 'eco system' is right! (I think!?)

So cute! I love frogs too, and often had them as "pets" when I was a little girl. I find their sounds very calming (and crickets too)!

That's the only kind of frog that wouldn't make me scream and run in the other direction!

I've always liked frogs too. There's something quite peaceful about them.

That is about as close to a frog that I like to get.

When I was in grade six or seven a boy at recess picked up a frog and threw it. Guess where it ended up?
Yep, down the neck of my coat...and it was dead!!
