Soup Kitchen!

Yesterday we had one of our 41 Club socials at Jack and Maren's house! We had a soup kitchen - how divine! Philip made his famous Gluwein and Maren had made Chicken Noodle Soup, Kassler and Veg soup, Goulash Soup and Curried Butternut with Mussels. She had a huge variety of breads and rolls - it was fabulous! The weather didn't play the game though - it was HOT! We were all hoping for a cold spell, believe it or not, as everything was really for a cold day! Anyhow, that did not detract from the success of the social. We had a lovely time. Got home nice and early too - just a perfect day to end another busy week-end!
