Philip came home from PE last night. Sounds like he had a whole heap of fun at his reunion, and spent some special time with his folks. Brought home some fresh calamari and sole which he bought at the harbour AND some lovely lemon marmelade and apricot jam lovingly made by Beryl. I decided it would be a good idea to make some calamari for dinner. We had a tomatoe and marscapone cheese soup to start, a Greek salad, lemon and herb rice and grilled calamari .... eeeeeuw! I don't know what I did but the calamari was as tough as old nails. Must find a different recipe, maybe I should have used a mallet first and beaten it to death, or perhaps I just over-cooked it! I was disappointed!
