It's not fair!

I am so angry today. I had taken a half day as Philip and I are supposed to be leaving for Botswana this afternoon and we have a funeral to attend at 12h00. Well, one of my staff members calls in sick and the JSE files are going to be late which means we will sit and twiddle our thumbs until 11. I won't be able to go to Phyllis' funeral and although it sounds strange not to want to miss it, she was a very special old lady to us and I would have liked to have paid my respects. I just hope to God I get out of here in time to leave for Botswana as the border posts close at 18h00. It's just not fair. When I really need to get out of here, something always goes wrong.
