Sunday Nights!

What better way to spend a chilly Sunday night than round a "staan vuur" (open fire), special people, marshmallows, stories and knitting squares ...

Sunday night always seems such an anti-climax!  The excitement of the week-end is over, it's time to wind down and get ready for the new week.  I cannot think of a nicer way to settle down, before a hot, bubble bath, than spending time together, wrapping up the happenings of the week-end, and planning the week forward.  The chilly weather seems so far away, when you're huddled around an open fire, marshmallows melting gently, to be savoured and enjoyed! Giggles and laughs about silly things that happened, older fingers quickly winding their way around needles, helping to build community service hours, to make a blanket which will keep some little one warm.

Sunday evenings can be good!
