How to get South Africans excited...

... send some snow! It's SNOWING IN JOZI! Braamfontein is WHITE with snow I don't believe my Northern Hemisphere friends would understand what an exciting thing that is for us. You see, it doesn't snow often here, not in the cities for sure, sometimes on the mountains and in the valleys below, but certainly not in SANDTON! (B-I-G smile!)

Well, today is snowing – lots and lots and BIG flakes – on and off all morning. Reminding me of Poland and feeling like Poland when I went out onto the balcony to feel the wet flakes land on my cheeks! Oh my, oh my! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Snow? I wouldn't believe my eyes. I remember the first winter we moved here to the subtropical area of Texas coast...it snowed...on Christmas Eve no less.

And, it was 32C here in Ontario, Canada today. You spent the day looking a snow flakes and we spent the day at the beach. Role reversal, I would say. LOL!

Yes, save your pennies and come to Canada!!!

I would have loved to see it snow it Jhb. Hell, I would have loved to see it snow anywhere. At least we got to see a little bit of snow yesterday.
