Cindy and I went to see "This is it!" last night. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but went with an open mind and boy! Did I enjoy! It showed a side of MJ that I certainly hadn't expected. There were no prima donna antics, none of the abnormal or obssesive behaviour I had been lead to believe he had! The way he spoke to the dancers, the muscians, the directors was quiet and forceful, in that he knew EXACTLY what he wanted. He understood his music so well. His love for the environment and our world was evident. And if there was anything I could learn from him ...
" ... if you want to make the world,
a better place
take a look at yourself
and make that
change!"

Can't wait to see it Saturday ! Glad you enjoyed it . . .
HaPpY ThUrSdAy !!!!!!!
Have only read and heard good things about this morning....
Now wondering if here in Germany they've dubbed the movie or if I should rather wait to buy the dvd.
I am also dying to see it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I posted about MJ when he passed in a post called "1am in London".
I am pleased you got to see the good side of him even through a documentary of sorts. The face we see in public when famous is rarely the true face of a hardworking ordinary being.
Although I do like some of his music, I have to be honost when I say I'm not a fan. But I have to admit though, that man was talented.
I hope it comes out on DVD because the 2 weeks in all my local cinemas (even London!) have sold out! So glad you enjoyed it! x
Yeah a sad life he led in many ways.... A brilliant man... I hope that he has found peace now....
It is such a big hit here too. Was it everything you thought it would be?
