We were met at Monte Casino at 07h15 and given a glass of champagne and orange juice! Our friends Cheryl and Nachita joined us and we chatted and laughed all the way to Henops River, which is where the spa is located.
It is such a pretty place! Their colour scheme is orange and they have dozens of orange and yellow Gerba’s all over the place – it is really so pretty! The staff are friendly and made us feel so welcome!
On arrival at the spa we were served a light breakfast before having our Revitalizing Facial spa with pressure point massage. This was followed by a full spa body works. We chose the African Miele Meal Body Exfoliation – just in time to get our bodies ready for spring! It was called “Tlhapiso” which means “gift of nature!”
Light breakfast of vanilla yoghurt, muelsi and fresh fruit
The trickling sound of the water, with a backdrop of birds chirping and a gentle breeze blowing through the trees was the background sound, as the African women silently went about their task of massaging!
The beautiful Henops River served as a backdrop and provided the gentle sound of running water!
African women singing to us as lunch time.
Our day just got better and better! All too soon time came for us to say goodbye and we ended our day in paradise with an Amarula liqueur. We’ll definitely be going back!

I better not let my wife see this otherwise she will want to do it as well.
I would love to do that again. I haven't been to a spa in years
This looks like the perfect way to spend a Saturday!!
