Life is short!

We were saddened to hear that Charles Littlejohn, National Secretary of 41 Club SA passed away during the early hours of this morning having suffered a heart attack. He was on holiday with his wife Desny, in Hlananati, Drakensberg. We saw them this week-end while we there. He was well and there was no sign of illness. Our deepest sympathy to his wife Desny and sons, Barry and Ross.

Mr P here. Charles was a man of few words but had a dry sense of humour. He would always be there to offer assistance when needed. He lived in Durban but was originally from Johannesburg and has many friends here. If anything he spent his last days doing things the he loved. Caravaning in the mountains, playing a round of golf, fishing in the Tugela river and being with friends. Charles, Thanks for the memories. Philip PS. Lovely photo Janet. Just as he was.

It happens so suddenly and unexpected. Just shows that we have to enjoy life every day to the fullest

Life is short I agree...we never know what day its our turn to leave...wish we remembered this instead of worrying about the small stuff in life.

Janet,
I am sorry to hear of your friend. Death is ugly and hard! I read one time to see death as a door, we all have to go through it, yet if we know Jesus as our Savior, then its a door, an entrance to pass through to "life!" I find comfort as I think of Joel, he is alive right NOW, but not in this world, alive in the city of the Great King, Zion!!!! May the Lord comfort the family and friends of this dear man!

Does make you think that we need to enjoy each day as life is just way too short.
