What is this world coming to?

My blog today is courtesy of Davey Dee!  Actually we saw the same article on Sunday afternoon and had a jolly good laugh!  I mean REALLY!  When there is so much "real" stuff to worry about, who cares about the length of the skirt on the toilet sign?
I STILL think it has something to do with April Fool's Day - although they missed the boat time-wise!  What do you think?  Do you thinking someone is "pulling our legs"!

I think this is another scheme by our wonderfully corrupt politicans to make some money from their relatives who have signs businesses. They obviously have run out of town names to change to something unpronounceable and therefore business is waning and they cannot afford their childrens private school fees.

You have a good point Anonymous! Be interesting to know what the ad cost them!!

I have been trying to find this since yesterday! I was listening to 702, and I wanted to post about it....thanks!
Might still do a post!

It has to be a joke!

Mr P says. This is a hoax and is actually part of some marketing campaign. If you read it carefully it sets no deadlines for the changing of signs and all it says is something about being mandatory. I am SURE all will be revealed when the ad agency rolls out the second or third part of the campaign. What U think of that suggestion!! has anyone phoned the toll free number?

Mr P you are too smart and yes, we did call the toll fee number - whoever registered that money must be making a small fortune!

CFM here. Mr P is right. When I called the call centre this morning, I was sure that I had heard a deadline date there. I have just called the call centre again and lo and behold there is a dealine date. Any guesses what it is... anybody... the 31st June 2009. Please check your calendar.

It must be a joke. Why does it matter? Let us know if all signs get changed:)

It must have been Sunday Time's belated April Fools Joke. As they don't come out during the week, this was their only opportunity to do one.

Crazy! And I agree, probably just done to line someone's pockets.

Thought I would let you all know that they even have these signs up on the lamp posts alongside the political advertising ... so not April Fool's ... I wonder what they're on about?
