When I was a little girl, my father always called me Bette Davis! He used to laugh and say I was a drama queen ... he was right! Ha! Betty Davis once said "Getting old aint't for sissies!" She was right too, especially after celebrating in the week and having to get up early for work the next day!

I had a wonderful birthday and was thoroughly spoilt. P gave me a beautiful hammock, and Stacey, a pair of tanzanite ear-rings! Stacey cooked a wonderful dinner and we had some friends pop over for an early supper. The weather was good and we had a good laugh! Brother Rob was on TOP form and had everyone in stitches!

Stacey cooking dinner - she made trinchado - it was to die for! YUM!

I got so many sms's and telephone calls. Probably the biggest surprise of all, was receiving a call from my dear friend Jose and talking to my Godson, Alexander all the way from Austria! I was thrilled!

Well - that's it for another year! I could pretend and say that I'm only 25, but how am I going to explain my daughter of 21? Haha! I don't have a problem with my age and intend to grow old gracefully AND graciously!

It looks like everybody enjoyed themselves. Lovely presents. The next party will be Stacey's 21st.
