What makes your Monday rock?

How many times have you woken up on a Monday morning and thought “OW! Not Monday again?” I have – many times! I’m not fond of Mondays, especially when one’s had a busy week-end and not much time to rest! LOL! I had to smile coming into work this morning. Our local radio station were asking people to phone in and share what sign shows that their Monday is going to be a good one? There were many: finding all the traffic lights in your favour, hearing your favourite song played on the radio, putting on your make-up without it smudging and having to re-do the whole lot, finding enough milk left in the fridge for a last cup of coffee!

What makes my Monday rock? Getting a text message from the South African Revenue Services to say they have refunded me from my tax return? I should be so lucky, but I tell you what that would make me happy! To find that I’m totally on time and missing all the traffic, getting to work and finding my newspaper on my desk waiting to be read and finding all my reports arrive on time so that I can get stuck in and the day flies by – before I know it, it’s time to go home …. Tuesdays aren’t so bad! Ha!

What makes your Monday rock?

Sometimes I think my Monday is only good when the boss doesn't show up at work. But the same goes for Tue, Wed, Thu and Fri, so does it count?

Hope you're having a good one!!
Thanks for your kind comment - I too am glad I'm going - only hope it's not too late - she is deteriorating quite quickly according to my sister in law this morning. She doesn't know who she is most of the time now, where her room is, where the dining room is etc and losing weight constantly - and she's never been a large person so Kathy says she's very thin now. Praying I get to see her one more time! Although I'm probably going to sit and watch her sleep!!! But I'll be there.

Janet, you will not believe this! Last month I paid SARS a handsome sum on time (I am a very good citizen!) Within three days I got the entire amount back depositied into my account! I phoned to find out: SARS had actually made an error, the money was mine and a letter to that effect that very afternoon! (It just wasn't on a Monday!)

I posted you an Award on my blog. Some bloggers like awards; others don't! But whichever way you feel, I just want to tell you that I enjoy your postings!

Yes, being on time for work without any major mishaps would definitely make for a rockin' Monday!

hhmmmmm good question.

I'd say it rocks when we wake up, and we both feel good enough to start our week. NO sickness.

You know being a stay at home mom now, Monday is a day of getting back to routine with the kids. When I worked I loved Mondays, the weekends were always so busy at work, Monday was a breather!
