Short week!

What a busy week-end. You don't understand how thankful I am that this is a short week for me. I will tell you more about that tomorrow!
The highlight of our week-end was the Christening of my ex-sister in law's precious little granddaughter, Sienna! How privileged Philip and I felt to be invited as it was a family affair! The Christening was held in the garden of Colin and Betty's beautiful home in Bryanston! Betty had taken pink Gerbils and stuck them through ribbon around the huge trunk of the oak in the middle of the garden - it was so pretty! The pastor from their church agreed to do the Christening at home which made it intimate and special. Little Sienna was so good! She fiddled with the little ribbons on her dress and never made a sound! I just love they way she sucks her two middle fingers when she's tired!

We had such a lovely time! Ended up staying for dinner. There was SO much to talk about and catch up. I was worried that it might be awkward for Philip as the grandparents of the baby are my ex-husbands brother and sister-in-law, but they made him feel so welcome! We couldn't get away and left promising that we will get together again soon!

What a lovely special occasion! I agree with Jeanette, the decorations around the tree sounded very pretty. Thanks for your comments on Erin - she is a cutie and such a girlie girl - I love looking at all the girlie things in the shops! (going to get her a dolly for Xmas!)
