Friends!

"Friendship is like a violin; the music may stop now and then, but the strings will last forever!"
I think that is such a beautiful quote and quite true. We don't have to live on each other's doorsteps, or even speak everyday, but true friends will reunite and it's as if they were never apart!
One of my oldest and dearest friends, Michelle (who reads this blog!) is having her birthday today! Happy birthday dear Shelly! I do hope you have a wonderful day, and that you will be HORRIBLY spoilt!
Another of my good friends and I went out for dinner last night. We originally decided to meet for a drink after work. We met at Doppo Zero on Bellairs Drive. We were given a table out on the deck, and being almost summer, neither of us were expecting to FREEZE! We both had short sleeves on and ended up shivering to death. They eventually had to move us inside! After a delicious glass of wine, we decided to stay for dinner. Philip was at a GM's work function and Ezio was also busy, so we had no reason to rush home! We ordered a platter of calamari, one of squid heads, halloumi cheese salad and tahini and hummous with pita and tucked in! We had such a good evening. We talked about fun things, we talked about serious things, we giggled, we got tears in our eyes! It was one of those where we left saying "Why don't we do this more often!" Somehow when the guys are around the conversation is different and we don't always get to share the "girl stuff!"
