What are we going to do ...

... about the crime in our country? Another one of our actors was been gunned down outside his flat on Monday night - the reason? It is speculated that he had an argument with members of the Body Corporate about the condition of the flats he lived in ... so four of them waited for him when he came home the next evening and shot him ... simple as that! It's spiralling out of control and it affects everyone. As one of my colleagues said this morning, we're all up in arms about Xenophobic action, but we can't even deal with the crime! In my opinion our government should take a leaf out of the Botswanan book - eye for eye! Hang the bastards. They voluntarily give up their human rights when they TAKE the human rights of the victim away.

I have no sympathy for these criminals. Can you believe that death row inmates in the US complained that the lethal injection was "cruel and unusual punishment" and for this reason violated their consitutional rights!! Good grief - how painful and cruel for the victim who was raped and murdered! That's not "cruel and unusual???"

I do agree that there have to be very high levels of proof for criminal behaviour before the death penalty can be ordered. But it MUST be an option.

It's a wicked world we live in and it makes me angry!
